Flag Requests

Flags can be purchased at-cost through my office and flown over the Capitol to honor special occasions, such as birthdays, military service and anniversaries.

To request to have a flag flown over the Capitol building, please fill out the flag request form, print it out, enclose a copy and a check payable to Congressman Steve King’s Office Supply Account for the respective amount, and mail to:

Special Occasion Flying Requests

If you choose to have your flag flown over the United States Capitol, please complete the following information for the certificate. If you have multiple flags to fly, they must all be flown on the same date. If you have multiple flags to fly on the same date, and you would like different names and/or occasions to appear on each certificate, please leave the name and occasion information below blank, and use a separate document to enclose that information.

Due to the thousands of requests received nationwide, these orders can take anywhere from 6-8 weeks from the date the flag is flown. If you would like to have a flag flown as quickly as possible, it is recommended you do not request a specific date.
