King Praises Announcement of Federal Prosecutor for Council Bluffs

"The Council Bluffs area will benefit greatly from today’s announcement. A new federal prosecutor will provide a boost to local law officials and enhance the already outstanding law enforcement presence in Council Bluffs. Adding a prosecutor has long been a goal of ours. Through community-wide teamwork, today this goal is achieved. Chief Keith Mehlin, U.S. Attorney Matthew Whitaker, Mayor Tom Hanafan, Pottawattamie County Attorney Matt Wilber, the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce and local officials did not give up and worked hard to make today’s announcement possible.”
