King: Democrats Oppose Farm Bill

Washington, DC- Congressman Steve King released the following statement to highlight the Democratic Party opposition to the Farm Bill:

"In Iowa, President Obama pointed fingers at everyone but members of his own party for holding up the passage of the Farm Bill," said King. "President Obama's administration, including Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, should be more focused on convincing their Democratic colleagues why the Farm Bill is important for rural America, instead of spending time traveling throughout Iowa trying to convince us. Iowans already understand why the Farm Bill programs are critical to producers and farmers."
