King Announces Committee Assignments for 115th Congress
Washington, D.C. – Congressman Steve King released the following statement announcing his committee assignments and subcommittee chairmanship for the 115th Congress:
“I am pleased to announce that for the 115th Congress, I will once again be part of the House Judiciary Committee, the House Committee on Agriculture and the House Small Business Committee, said King. “I am also honored to be appointed the chairman of the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice by Chairman Goodlatte of the House Judiciary Committee. As a full-spectrum, Constitutional Conservative, I am a strong believer in the Rule of Law, and I always carry a copy of the Constitution in my coat pocket. Representing the leading agricultural district in the Nation and as the founder of a small business, I look forward to working with my fellow Members on both sides of the aisle as we strive to lead on the issues facing Iowa and our Nation.”
After announcing the new leadership team for the House Judiciary Committee, Chairman Bob Goodlatte said, “Congressman Steve King is a valuable member of the House Judiciary Committee. His expertise on many of the issues facing our nation and the Committee make him well-suited to serve as Chairman of the Constitution and Civil Justice Subcommittee.
